Please, please be brave...

ICE raided a kids’ baseball academy practice on the Westside of NYC at 72nd St. and Riverside Drive, threatening them with deportation if they didn't reveal their parents' country of origin. High school kids of color who were all born Americans!!! Their brave black coach knew the law and the Constitution and protected them as he stood up and argued with these FULLY ARMED Gestapo thugs and was able to finally make them leave... at least then.

What horrified me even more than the raid against these teenagers on an honored baseball academy field of play which, over the years, has sent kids to the Majors, was that the New Yorker bystanders in the park said and did nothing to help the coach or protect these kids. Nothing!!! I’m a proud NYer now living in California, but right now I am so ashamed of these hometown NYers’ cowardice in not surrounding these baseballs kids and protecting them from these ICE Nazi brown shirt. Who instead were afraid to interfere and turned a blind eye.

This is what American fascist Stephen Miller (and Trump) want to create… a silent, fearful public so that America will become a white male dominated nationalist, fascist country. Being silent WILL NOT PROTECT YOU - you may be next. It won’t end with making women impotent in the business world by taking away their healthcare and forcing them back into the kitchen to wait on men and to bear their white children… remember the torch carrying men in Charlottesville marching with those lighted torches shouting “Jews will not replace us?” After all the brown folks are tortured, deported or killed, will we hear “round up the Jews” next? Journalists are already being targeted, newspapers are being targeted, as are news networks that question this #administrationofdunces - its faux macho unqualified boys such as #prettyboypete and #musclemachoDanBongino who has never really held a real job… calling them idiots would be an insult to idiots — or blonde Donnie’s #femalefascist behind the golden crosses? Donnie and BimboBondi are already going after Republicans and Democrats alike - men and women who have held positions in government under both party’s regimes that have spoken out against this administration. Trump has ordered DOJ investigations on judges and prosecutors that both parties have installed if they dare try to stop Trump’s unlawful executive orders. So much for an independent DOJ.

Capitulating, appeasing or hiding ones head in the sand will not protect any of us.

Please, please be brave. Stand strong. We need everyone to stop this avalanche of the rise of fascism in America.
